Story

Come Together Festival made its debut in Newcastle this summer as a bold, large-scale outdoor music event.Delivered by RG Live in partnership with Newcastle City Council and The Freemen of Newcastle, the ambition was clear: to create the biggest music festival the North East has ever seen. From the very start, Far and Beyond played a central role, working closely with the council and local stakeholders to shape the site, streamline operations, and make sure every detail of the audience experience was right.

Set on Newcastle’s Town Moor, the two-night festival drew headline performances from Robbie Williams and Kings of Leon, supported by a strong line-up of UK and international talent. The experience extended well beyond the music, with the site coming alive through street food, fully licensed bars, interactive art and funfair rides. A crowd favourite was the Greggs VIP Lounge, which quickly became one of the weekend’s most talked-about highlights.

Far and Beyond led the full site planning, licensing, and operational management, ensuring the complex logistics of a new site ran seamlessly. We worked closely with incoming artists, supporting them through a new venue and making sure their needs were met.

Delivered on a tight timeline and against the challenges of opening a brand-new site, the festival was a huge success. It brought tens of thousands of people together, left a lasting impression on the local community, and proved how ambitious ideas can become reality when planning, partnerships, and detail all come together. Come Together Festival set a new benchmark for the North East, and we’re already looking forward to its return in 2026.
