Dakar Rally Finishing Line Concert
The Concept
We were engaged by Live Nation Entertainment, Middle East to support the 42nd Edition of the annual off-road endurance rally, which for the first time took place in the Qiddiya Desert of Saudi Arabia.
We worked alongside our creative colleagues to bring this visually impressive fan event to life in a matter of weeks, creating a beautiful setting for the celebration of this prestigious sporting event.
Our scope included full event management, designing and building the full fan village including the impressive main stage, designed to blend in with the stunning natural environment, the winners podium and a number of fan activations all of which were focused on fan engagement and experience.

Highlights
By overcoming the various logistical challenges associated with building an event site in the middle of the desert, we were able to deliver a world-class event, with a vastly impressive result to be enjoyed not only by the client, but the twenty thousand spectators, and all those who watched the televised broadcast.
The event showcased groundbreaking creative technology including projection mapping onto the Qiddiya Rock which made for one of the most creatively impressive shows we’ve ever been a part of.
