With the addition of the MTV brand name, the previously known Gibraltar Calling Festival was keen to rebrand, restructure, and solidify themselves as one of the major European Festivals. We were brought in to manage the event, give the festival a fresh start and were tasked with the challenge of breathing new life into the event, ensuring it was relevant, safe and well designed.
We focused on capturing the essence of Gibraltar and focusing on what was important to those who live there, as well as working on attracting tourists to the event. As the event is the brainchild of the Ministry for Culture in Gibraltar, our overall aim was to increase the appeal of attendance from both locals and tourists alike, while also bringing the event up to UK standards in safety, production and event delivery.

Due to the proximity of the event site to Gibraltar International Airport, our Event Control team were regularly in contact with Air Traffic Control to ensure the safety of both festival goers and flight passengers!
We developed a great working relationship with the Ministry of Culture in Gibraltar. We first worked to redesign the event’s operational channels, leading to an increase in customer satisfaction which was evident in market sales and sales the following year. The success of the festival has meant it now attracts more customers from outside of Gibraltar than ever before.
